The Masters
A golfer and a globetrotter, Jordan Rodericks is just right for any project connected to The Masters. In the spring of 2022, the creative team at the Martin Agency entrusted Jordan with just that: a UPS x Masters exploration of Augusta, Georgia, filled with real people, businesses, and the hospitality that makes the entire tournament not only possible but also one of a kind.
Limitations abound when dealing with one of golf’s most hallowed events. There’s to be minimal mention of “The Masters,” limited golf depicted, no access to the course or the property, and absolutely no green jackets.
Challenges make things interesting, and the resulting film focused on the “Real Caddies of Augusta.” It positioned the small business owners of the classically small southern town of Augusta as the true professionals and the UPS employees as their guiding and supportive caddies. The film features photography, locations, and talent all selected by Jordan, as promised in the initial call with the creatives.

As commercial work is conceptualized, it takes shape in the mind and the process of expressing, organizing, and producing that vision takes shape.
For UPS, director Jordan Rodericks took the words and visuals in the treatment and cooked up a previz with found footage and a tone that ultimately won him the job.
