SELECTIONS for Michael Engler
A Deep Dive or a Once Over:
No stress to dive fully in here, I know the drill — this page is designed for a once-over, really, and if something catches your eye, there’s always the option to take a deeper look.
Here are some Jordan Rodericks points of interest:
The directing work below is fresh. Everything completed within the last 3 years.
I love to be on set. I find that it’s where I’m most comfortable — even in those production moments that aren’t necessarily comfortable, there’s peace.
I’ve been working with SpangTV for 13 years, finding solutions for all manner of problems opportunities.
EP, AD, DP, Photog, WebDev, Branding, Budgets, Post Producing, and Social — I’m well-versed and well-rounded.
The film community is small in actuality, and my network feels largely connected. I like connecting dots and interacting with people who share similar interests and visions. Filmmaking is a privilege and I’m honored.
I have a positive disposition, confidence, and am hungry for opportunities to listen and learn.
In closing: I want to explore paths to directing narrative works. I’m eager to challenge myself and grow in a world where the work has a lasting impact and where creativity can be fulfilling.
It’s a new season for me. As a father of a 20 year old, I’m bounding into my empty nest era, all while at the top of my career. I have unparalleled flexibility and experience that sets me apart from my peers and I’m dying to stretch out a bit.
TL;DR: I’m seeking mentor-style guidance on how best work towards new direction in directing. Thanks for taking a scroll, Michael!
